World Expo 2010 - Shanghai, 1 may 2010  - 31 october 2010

The Province of Zuid-Holland will organize a Water Week and a Dutch Life Sciences Week at the World Expo – Shanghai.

The Water Week

The Holland Water Week will be held from 4 – 12 June 2010.
During this week, the Netherlands will show its knowledge and experience in the Water field to the world in a 5-day seminar cycle. The themes include wastewater management, millennium development goals, delta technology, drinking water and water & energy.
The mission, led by vice governor of Zuid-Holland province Mrs. Lenie Dwarshuis, offers many opportunities for Dutch organizations and scientists in the Water sector. During this mission individual match-making and company visits will be facilitated, seminars in the Holland Pavilion will take place. The goal of this mission is to start and intensify structural cooperation between Dutch and Chinese parties in the Water sector.

The Dutch Life Sciences Week

The Dutch Life Sciences Week will be held from 12 – 19 June 2010. This economic mission with seminars, individual match-making and company visits. This week will offer many opportunities in Shanghai for Dutch organizations and scientists in the Life Sciences sector.
The mission will be led by Mr. Asje van Dijk and scientific delegation leader Dirk-Jan van de Berg (TU Delft). The goal of this mission is to start and intensify structural cooperation between Dutch and Chinese parties.
