In the second week of June, Shanghai Pudong paid a visit to the province of Zuid-Holland. The delegation was led by Mr. Zhang Zhaotian, the Vice Chairman of CPPCC Pudong New Area Committee. The duration of the visit from 7 - 9 June 2011 purposed the goal to further deepening and expanding the partnership between Shanghai Pudong and Zuid-Holland province.

On the 8th of June a lot of work visits were scheduled starting with visiting the new Zuid-Holland province governors Mr. van der Sande and Mrs. Spies in the morning, towards the "Sand Engine" project at the Dutch coast for presentations of DHV and Deltares. In the afternoon the delegation went to Westland to visit the Westland Demokwekerij before heading towards the Port of Rotterdam to meet Mr. Ger van Tongeren of RCI and Judith Vles of Port of Rotterdam. The day was ended by having an offical dinner with Governor Jan Franssen of Zuid-Holland province at the Euromast in Rotterdam.

On the 9th of June the delegation of Shanghai Pudong started the day by visiting FloraHolland and after they went to Yes!Delft. After these visits the delegation moved on to DSM in Delft where they got presentations of different organizations.Furhter visits were the Improvement Centre of GreenQ, the Bio Science Park of Leiden and the day was ended with dinner by visiting Corpus.
